Arvind Kejriwal is an Indian social activist and Ramon Magsaysay Award winner. He was born on 16th Jun3 1968 in Hisar, Haryana, India. He has completed his graduation from IIT Kharagpur, West Bengal. After passing out from IIT KGP, Kejriwal joined the Tata Steel and later he cracked the Civil Services Examination and he was allocated Indian Revenue Service.
He has worked for Indian government for more than one decade and resigned from the service in 2006.
He is among the top contributors in the two mass movements of the 21st century in India. He has extensively worked in the Right To Information and currently among the core team of Indian Against Corruption led by Gandhian Anna Hazare.

ReplyDeleteI have seen many a time on tv speaking for Anna Hazare movement. I support the movement against corruption and I am sure it will bring results. However, I do not agree with your attitude and uttarances which project arrogance and self rightous attitude. Be prepared to negotiate within the demoratic system. I do not agree with many parts of Jan Lokpal and it does not mean that I agree with the Government Lokpal bill. Both needs amendments and I must say more changes are required in Jan Lokpal bill.

ReplyDeleteWhile corruption is indeed a malaise haunting India for decades, I don't believe it can be put an end to by just passing a new bill. Unlike many others who believe Corruption is due to our political leaders, I believe it is because of us, the 'aam aadmi'. We are morally corrupt from our childhood and we are taught to be like that by our societies who told us to 'struggle' and win at any cost. Moreover, I also believe what Anna Hazare and you are doing is to hold the elected parliament, not to mention the Government to ransom. You have every right to protest and propose a new bill, but since u have the 'mass support', whatever u declare it to be, it is irresponsible to pressurize the Government to accept your terms. Getting mass support in India is very easy..here a lady dressed like a mythological character asking for votes is looked up as 'Sita Maiyya' and manage to win election without any political reasons. I am not saying that your protest is wrong, nor am I saying that you don;t have mass support. All I am saying is that if you are representing the mass, you or Anna Hazare must consider joining politics, winning the people's mandate through parliamentary elections and then play a role in running the country. It is too easy to criticize and demand policy changes without taking the responsibility and accountability yourself. I am sure many of your supporters will lose their calm after reading this and hurl abuses at me, but I am assuming that you are educated and therefore logical and practical enough to see through my message.

I would like to draw attention of the movement to the following scenario:
1) Timing chosen by Sonia to be away matches exactly at the time of preannounced demonstrations.
2)The PM faces the heat, ruin his image further and finally give in.
3) Then follows her grandiose return to "SOLVE" the issue, PM's resignation.
4)Rahul Gandhis crowning as PM is the main MOTIVE behind this. A successful predecessor with clean image is not what the Prince needs.
5) Congress will try to cool down of issue -by using 64 years of experience- till next election .

Some suggestions for next phase : Electoral Reforms:
1. No politician or his relatives should have any foreign bank account unless they are living there.all such account should be declared public and yearly statement should be submitted to government and if required made public.
2. Any false information in elactoral forms must be treated seriously even after election of candidate he/she should be terminated.
3. Any person having CRIMINAL record should be bared from running for any elactoral positions.
4. Election commission should request audits of electoral representatives(and their relatives) even without any complaint at reguler intervals for 'having assets more then their income'.if found guilty they should be bared for running election for life time and eaten money should be recovered.
5. Strict audits of party funds sources and election expenses. Expense limits should be imposed strictly.

ReplyDeletebut now in-front of the standing committee, they have 4 type of bill i.e. lokpal(sarkari), aruna rao's, JP's & Jan lokpal (our's). i was thinking that the Government will put all their efforts to make it lazy bill. So we must be take care of the full process upto the making rules according to the bill. I know that you must have the plan for further process but but i want to tell this flame against corruption should be in the mind of every people of india because the indian pepole forget the matter very fast..

The fight for Jan Lokpal Bill shows that the entire country is behind it as each honest Indian is fed up with wide spread corruption which has made his life hell.
It is just the beginning. Anna Hazare ji and you have succeeded in forcing the mighty but corrupt governemnt to bend a little about the need for a strong Lokpal Bill. The movement must not lose the momentum it has gained in the past 15 days. Action on all other reforms (Electoral. Police, Judicial, Administrative...) must begin without delay side by side with the Jan Lokpal Bill. We are all with you and behind you.
Keep it up and tell us how we can help this movement. There are many ideas we would like to share with you. Is it possible to meet you / talk to you about those points? Please advise.

The reply to Parliament by Kejariwal about ‘breach of privilege notice’ is intelligent and legally tenable. But “India Against Corruption” should immediately start developing elaborate and institutionalized first, second third, forth, fifth, sixth and seventh line of leadership at national, state, sambhag, district, tehsil / taluka / metros, nagar / panchayat samities, gram / ward level respectively. Because Parliament / government may forcibly remove Kejariwal, Prashant Bhushan and Kiran Bedi by putting them in jail by taking excuse of these ‘Parliament privilege proceedings’ or otherwise on some other count. Hence in such eventuality another Anna agitation [which is bound to take place in next month due to ‘committee recommendation’ / Bill in Parliament and which is bound to dissatisfy Anna, Anna team and people of India] will suffer immensely if these leadership at said seven levels are not available throughout the country to take this resumed agitation to its logical and desired end (till desired Jan Lokpal Bill is passed by Parliament).

Bhagat Singh sacrificed his life for the country and Arvind Kejariwal has sacrificed his life and flourishing career for the country to make it livable for next generation. He could have enjoyed a lavish life in any foreign country with IIT tag or even in India could have enjoyed money and power, had he just collaborated with corruption or at least kept his eyes closed like our PM, when in civil services.

However, the entire country is up in arms against the scams and scamsters, it is high time to expose the Alibaba Gang of Forty, who have effectively controlled the power organs of the government thereby looted the entire nation. Their wrong economic policies have resulted in worst ever scenarios, such as, hunger, greediness, corruption scandals, black monies stashed away in the tax havens abroad, a widening gap between the haves and the have-nots, lawlessness, chaos, disarray, mobocracy, social upheavals, turmoil, most terrible economic crisis that has reigned the entire country! In this context, Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee has said recently that the worst ever financial crisis across the world has not affected Indian economy! Indeed, this is misleading statement, on the contrary, the fact is that the economic crisis is not affecting us because Indian economy thrives on black money! Most politicians, bureaucrats, big corporate houses, Bollywood and businesspersons have black money, which is under circulation in the country. However, for India generation and circulation of black money is a blessing in disguise!

आखिर अन्ना हजारेको इन्होने तोड़ दिया हम जानते थे ऐसा ही होगा प्रेसिडेंट ऑफ़ इंडिया भी ये सारा तमाशा चुप चाप देख रहे है और ऐसा ही बरसोसे होते आया है अब तो इन्होने हद पार कर दी सारे पोलितिसियन जज लोयेर यहातक की पोलिस डिपार्टमेंट भी एक होंके भ्रष्टाचार के अगेंस्ट आवाज उठाने वालोंको नेस्टनाबूद कर रहे है और तो और जो लोग भ्रष्टाचार के आरोप में जेल गए है उन्हें और अपने आपको बचानेके लिए देश के सारे पोलितिसियन एक हुवे है अब यह जो ६० सालसे चला आया भ्रष्टाचार सिर्फ इंडियन मिलिटरी रोक सकती है लेकिन इंडियन आर्मी शायद यह सोचती होगी क्या हम देश को maintain कर सकते है ?मेरा कहेना है जी हा जरुर आप इस गद्दार लोगोंसे देशको बचा सकते हो चाहे १ या २ बरस देश पीछे जायेगा लेकिन उसकेबाद अपना देश दुनियाका सबसे खुशहाल देश होगा और सारी दुनिया हमें फोल्लो करेगी कैसे?--
पहलेतो इंडियन आर्मी ने देश को हाथमे लेना चाहिए उसकेबाद प्रेसिडेंट,पंतप्रधान चिफमिनिस्टर जज्ज और देश के सारे पोलितिसियन को अर्रेस्ट करना चाहिए उन सब को सिर्फ एक प्रश्न पूछा जायेगा क्या आपने कभी अपने देश को कमसेकम ३ रुपय्यासे फसाया है? क्योंकि ३ रुपय्या नहीं होनेसे without ticket वालोंको ३ दिन जेल होती है [३ रुपय्यासे मिलियन डॉलर की सजा एक ही होगी]जो कोई नेता हा बोलता है तो उन्हें ७ दिन जेल और उनके सर के सारे बाल कटवाए जायेंगे चाहे ओ सरदार या औरत हो लेकिन जो नेता डिनोय करता है उसको गुप्त सजा दी जाएगी और उन्हें फिर राज्नितिमे नहीं लिया जायेगा

A--8 to 40 hours compulsory Military training for every person including men,women,priest
3 months Military Training including 20 marks Exam for every politician before Election
(20 marks are added 20% of Election result this way looser candidate can win the election)
1 month Military Training including exam for every politician after Election.[secret training].
B-Any Minister if necessary can take commission or official bribe or donation with business deal and this money will distributed with all state or parliament member as a team work
C--Backward classes--- we should not use or write Backward classes word.
D--Dual Religion ship If desire all Indian Buddhist can convert in Hindu with respect
E-Zamindar or land owner can not keep their land without use more then 10 years.
This law are including Government's Land too.
F-Above 40 years old unmarried or divorce lady can keep sexual relation with any above 21
G-Every person must get 3 to 7 days Government help for Honeymoon with instruction how to make healthy and happy child and 7 days before and after pregnancy.for healthy child.
H-After Death of any person including criminal will get proper respect with free funeral.
I-court should be settle all cases maximum in 10 years or in 100 date.
J-Student those are living in 100Km area of Indian border will get extra 10% credit
K-Every year celebrate Dog day this day we should take care of Dog,Caw,Goat,Chicken, Fish this day no one can kill or eat any Animal this day we should release10% wild Animal & 10% Prisoner

ReplyDeleteIndia need a vast movement for Judicial Reform for timely justice delivery and also protecting litigant undue delay in judicial process. Judiciary in a democracy functions worst than the dictator king. Some external mechanism needed to ensure check and balance on judicial function esp. to ensure timely justice delivery and ensure affordability and accessibility. Indian judiciary and faith in judiciary is in the brink of collapse.
ReplyDeleteIn Indian democracy, civil society have to pay various charges for making peaceful protest which we witnessed in recent Anna's agitation for Janlokpal Bill. While politically sponsored violence like burning bus, cars and damaging public property and obstructing movement no accountability and responsibility to the sponsorers of violence because of political background. Why there is two laws applicable to politician and civil society. It is surprising even the judiciary acted in vengeance against civil society. Is it the administrative giving wrong message to public at large?
